Vacancy: Compliance employee

Job description

As a compliance employee, you will strengthen the current operational team. Here, you focus on implementing and supervising compliance with the applicable legal and/or regulatory integrity and conduct rules.

Profile

The ideal candidate has:

• Preferably a Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
• You ensure efficient operational implementation of the compliance rules with a view to protecting financial consumers.
• You are responsible for the follow-up and implementation of the compliance legislation (AML and MiFID, among others). You analyse new legislation and translate them into (IT) processes, procedures and policy documents;
• You ensure that existing and new policy documents and procedures are complied with. You take the initiative and actively contribute to improving compliance processes;
• You are responsible for detecting, monitoring and reporting compliance risks and any deficiencies. You proactively communicate this to management and you contribute to proposals to reduce these risks and to improvement processes;
• Based on a methodical risk analysis, you make a written action plan and draw up a compliance monitoring plan and you are responsible for its implementation and follow-up;
• You act as point of contact for management, relationship managers, asset management and all other functions within Value Square and you provide advice on items that fall within the work area;
• You are responsible for the ad hoc delivery of reports, figures and analyses to the CEO, management and Board of Directors of Value Square and you provide some periodic reports to the FSMA;
• You are responsible for the educations from the compliance staff and you create compliance consciousness with the employees.
